It is a great pool, large with slow, medium, fast and rec lanes. It is a popular pool and usually sharing lanes. Staff is friendly. It is nothing fancy but it is close to me and I love it's accessibility. A great place to swim for exercise

I love love love the Presidio YMCA! The pool is a hidden gem and is so beautiful, and the workout facility is great too. The staff is very nice as well and Devon was extremely helpful with getting me all set up for success. 5 stars!!

The staff are always understanding and so helpful. Lifeguards are also very knowledgeable and courteous to the patrons when advising which swimming lanes are best for the not so novice swimmers who are getting back into the groove. Overall, excellent staff, outstanding service all make for a great experience in Swim Training.

Nice place for a swim, but the chlorine smell is so strong here that it gives me a headache and makes me feeling weak after even a few laps. It is especially strong compared to several pools I have visited in San Francisco. I do not get this at the Cal Berkeley pools where the smell is not overpowering. The smell in the hottub is just as strong if not stronger, which means their primary method for sanitization is chemical. Bring your own locks. After school swims, youth leave the locker rooms in a hovel of mess so try in the mornings or evening if you can endure the chemicals.

I've been a life long swimmer and since moving to SF a few years ago, I've been dying to find a decent pool and masters program.

Halle-freaking-lueja! I recently found the Letterman Pool through the Presidio YMCA. This is one of the nicest indoor pools for the price in the northern 7x7.
Unlike other gym-based indoor pools in the area, this one is clean, well staffed and well-maintained. The water was a perfect temperature and it wasn't too crowded after 7pm.

The Masters program is posted on a white board and has had decent workouts that are both challenging and fun.

The spa was also very clean and kept at a nice 104* for a post workout clense.

The pool its self is 8 lanes by 25 yards with a wading pool and spa.

The only drawback is that you have to be a YMCA member to use or pay a drop in fee.

Beautiful lake where you can feed the ducks, walk your dog and take pictures. Kids will love it. It is very calm with minor noise. A very peaceful place to chill and meditate.

This pool is really great! There is great lighting, a nice hot tub and also a wading pool. I love the YMCA and recommend it to everyone!

A very nice pool if you're a Y member, has a kiddie pool and a big Jacuzzi. Right next to the Palace of fine arts and the Marina.
