Very sweet staff and life guards. Heated lap pool open certain times over the week. Another huge pool with splash pads and slides. Lakeway Residents have a certain entry/membership fee and non residents is a little more expensive. Clean and well taken care of!

Slide Nazi’s. That’s how I experienced the life guards. My daughter was a bit afraid of going down the slides without me and I went down with her to help her overcome her fears and got reprimanded. Saw them constantly whistling at little kids for doing things “wrong” on the slide and other places. They were just being kids and weren’t in danger.

And I being a 45 year old man with a 3 year old wouldn’t endanger my child but I want to help her face her fears.

No real legitimate safety reason to not let a dad take his toddler down most slides. So pretty silly.

Rule following without practical common sense.

They don’t let kids in late summer/early fall. I had a real hard time finding this mandate on their website. Please be advised before you promise your kid a ride on a water slide.

Lakeway Swim Center’s summer movie nights was such a great bonding experience for my boys and me. The boys loved watching How to Train Your Dragon while swimming and making new friends. Everybody was so friendly. The best part, at least according to my boys, was the “best popcorn ever!” (also complimentary) which came with butter AND M&Ms!

The most rude staff ever. Swimming with my kids and my youngest is trying to get comfortable with the deep end. There are more than 30 kick boards and 4 lap lanes. They refused to let us use the kick boards outside of the lanes as they were reserved for lap swimmers only. All 30 kick boards for 4 lanes?!?!
They were disrespectful to a mom who was their elder and just kept talking over me telling me what I can’t do. Will NEVER bring my kids there again.

Cute fun place, but learned quickly this was more for very young kids like under 10 or 8.. taking my 12& 15 yr old, no bueno .. but we all still did the slide ?
The pool area next to the slide was I think 3ft or maybe 4ft at most & the other side of the swim area is for adults only swimming laps.

It was amazing! It wasn’t so crowded especially for a weekend. More for kids than adults. Also the price is reasonable and you can bring your own food. It was worth driving 40 minutes to get there.
