update diving board and slides opened, they replaced the high dive with a rope swing.

Slides closed, diving board is closed, costs more than all pools in the area. And you have to be physically in the pool with your kids within arms length. Good luck if you have more than one kid. Do not recommend for families.

Update they have opened the diving board a a little zipline thing in deep end. Great place to cool off during summer!

We came up for a nice afternoon with the kids and initially it was fine. Small kids pool but my kids were having fun so it was fine. We were there about 40 minutes before they came over and closed the kid pool because "no chlorine". My kids can't swim well enough for the big pool yet, which is why we came to the small pool to begin with. My kids were so disappointed and it was a huge waste of time. We likely won't be back.

OMG I was absolutely loving the place and i was incredibly happy, and raving to everyone the last few weeks. Was totally shooked they had a high dive that in great shape and still functioning. Water is cooler than most place, life guard are easy to talk to and easy to work with, I asked the life guards and they said yes I was able to use the high dive and regular without a problem before lunch during lap hours, too great an idea to be true, I thought it was so weird nobody else was using them, went off as many times as I wanted between swimming laps to get a little leg workout in, then back to laps to finish up, I was getting such and awesome workout OMG and my body weight was just dropping, then yesterday I go there and find out driving board it's closet for cosmetic rust, which is not a safety concern!!! Then today I go and the boards is open again, but not during laps hours, but only during rec hours?!?! What happened to make the changes, please however makes the pool manager meet shots, please open the diving board during lap hours again, going off the diving board gives me such a better workout, there is nopebody in the facility half the time I was going off the board, so not sure why you would make a rule that affects you one consistent person in the water at that time and no body else in the facility for more than an hour!!! So disappointed yawl let me have that much fun the last few weeks, and then yank the rug out from under me, make me feel like I am the bad guy or that I did something wrong while I was there, I never did anything at the pool without asking the staff first, please reopen the diving boards during pt lap time or have a special diving board open hours from 10am to 1300. Before 10am most people have workout done with the military. Please do something so I can delete this add!!

Im a lifeguard at the pool. This is the only pool on base as Abrams is now closed. There are normal rules such as no running, swim tests for children 12 an under, and some not so obvious rules such as no playing in the ramp and stairs and no googles on the slides. All in all, all of the local families that come dont have a problem with the pool while some new families that just arrived to Fort Hood usully say the pool is ok. But, its a nice pool but the bathrooms were desined for soldiers hence are a bit out dated.
